Create Abundant Lather & Deep Clean your Skin Every Time you Bathe…

Skin Triks® Designer Exfoliating Bath Sponges are durable, European-Style bathing sponges. They are designed to create an abundantly rich lather using your favorite bar or liquid soap, and then they air dry quickly, remaining soft & flexible.

Two SpongeezesThere
are two textures on each of our Designer Exfoliating Bath Sponges: one side holds lots of lather and is soft to the skin. The other side is rough. This sponge texture may feel quite unfamiliar at first because by design it is an excellent exfoliator. It makes the skin tingle while it effectively cleans your body aiding in the healthy conditioning of your skin… It’s fast and It’s Skin-Sational!

While bathing you can choose one of two textured sides for your skin and you can even use the narrow side if you like both textures. Clean your body like never before. It even has properties for combating cellulite reduction.

The Science

Microdermabrasion may be performed to help diminish the appearance of superficial hyperpigmentation, and photo-damage, as well as diminish fine lines, wrinkles, acne, and shallow acne scars. A further benefit of microdermabrasion is enhanced skin penetration by other skin creams and serums. Removing dead skin (startum corneum of the epidermis) will aid in the penetration of skin care products and medications by up to 10-50%. The controlled skin exfoliation afforded by microdermabrasion will afford make-up and self-tanning products to go on much more smoothly. [Authored by] Microdermabrasion in Practice. 1995. Mahuzier, Francois MD.

Often called “microderm” for short, microdermabrasion is a procedure to help exfoliate or temporarily remove a few of the top layers of the skin called the stratum corneum. Much like brushing Designer Body Bath Spongesone’s teeth, microdermabrasion helps to gently remove skin “plaque” and skin debris. Since human skin typically regenerates at approximately 30-day intervals, skin improvement with microdermabrasion is temporary and needs to be repeated at average intervals of two – four weeks for continued improvement. Multiple treatments in combination with sunscreen, sun avoidance, and other skin care creams yield great results.

The Skin Triks® Designer Exfoliating Bath Sponge exfoliation properties you can remove dead skin cells, leaving your skin radiant and smooth. Whether it’s bikini season or you just want soft, clean skin, exfoliating your skin from head to toe will get you glowing.

Exfoliating once or twice a week with the rough microderm side of the spongee is usually enough to achieve silky skin; however, women with oily skin should exfoliate more often. If your skin becomes excessively dry or irritated after exfoliation, don’t scrub so hard. Cut back on how often you exfoliate, and simply use the softer side of the Skin Triks® Designer Exfoliating Bath Spongee to bathe.

Many women exfoliate their faces, but forget about or do not have the means to address other body parts. Now you do with the line of Skin Triks® Designer Exfoliating Bath Spongeeze. As the weather heats up and you get bikini-ready, you should exfoliate all over. Exfoliation is also important before applying tanning products or when rejuvenating winter-weary skin.

The skin is constantly generating new skin cells at the lower layer (the dermis) and sending them to the surface (the epidermis). As the cells rise to the surface they gradually die and become filled with keratin. These keratinized skin cells are essential because they give our skin its protective quality. But they are constantly sloughing off to make way for younger cells.

As we age the process of cell turnover slows down. Cells start to pile up unevenly on the skin’s surface, giving it a dry, rough, dull appearance. Exfoliation is beneficial because it removes those cells that are clinging on, revealing the fresher, younger skin cells below.

It is possible, however, to over-exfoliate, especially on the delicate skin of the face. Over-exfoliating will dry and irritate the skin. Take it easy if your new at this and talk to a good esthetician about the product and frequency that is best for your skin.

Microdermabrasion Works For Men, Too!

A younger, healthier appearance is just as important to a man as it is to a woman. All skin has a top layer of dead, dry, damaged skin cells. However, since women tend to take better care of their skin, a man’s skin is even more prone to ageing, wrinkles, fine lines and sun damage.Skin Triks Bath Sponges

Professional microdermabrasion systems work for men, too! Now men can also rejuvenate wrinkled, ageing and sun-damaged skin etc. And if you don’t have the patience for a typical skin care regime, the Skin Triks® Designer Exfoliating Bath Sponges are really great – just use the exfoliating side of the sponge all over your body every time you shower. The softer lathering side can be used until you adapt to this new level of cleaning and steadily you will begin to use the microdermabrasion way of bathing.

*For the man or woman who works with his or her hands; the Skin Triks® Designer Exfoliating Bath Sponges remove the toughest dirt on the skin exponentially faster and more effectively than a washcloth.

We suggest replacement after 30-60 day period or so: depending on the frequency of use.
